Olaio was a renowned Portuguese furniture manufacturer, founded in the early 20th century and particularly known for its distinctive mid-century designs. The company became an important name in Portuguese modernist furniture, combining practical forms with quality craftsmanship and materials. The planter is made of plywood with solid wood trimming and feet. It has an original Olaio metal label on it.Although it doesn't show original wood finish, it is still a very nice retro/vintage decorative piece.
The box has been repainted white and decorated with hand-painted floral design.
