This pair of hand-painted porcelain table lamps was crafted in Portugal by the renowned Alcobaça porcelain factory (founded by Jose dos Reis in 1875)—a name steeped in history and artistry, now regrettably extinct. Bothe lamps are stamped with the factory's name (ELPA Alcobaça) and one of them is numbered, which means that only a certain number of them were ever manufactured.
