Mid-Century Modern wall sconce with a distinctive Rockabilly vibe, designed and made in France in the 1960s.
This playful vintage wall light combines a bold red plastic backplate with a sculptural translucent Plexiglas shade. The shade can be adjusted to different angles, allowing you to direct the light where needed.
Its vibrant colour, streamlined form and retro character make it a wonderful example of 1960s French modernist lighting, with a touch of Rockabilly charm.
The lamp has been fitted with a single bayonet light-bulb socket.

Condition
The original small plastic hanging piece at the back of the lamp was broken. We have securely attached a replacement piece of plastic so that the sconce can be hung on the wall.
Please note that this is a visible restoration and is reflected in the condition of the piece. The repair does not affect the distinctive appearance of the lamp once installed.
