Vintage wooden scissor wall lamp featuring an adjustable accordion-style extension arm. The articulated wooden mechanism expands outward from the wall and folds back when not in use, allowing the light to be positioned exactly where needed.
The lamp has a warm dark-toned wooden structure with visible pivot joints and a simple tapered shade with fine vertical detailing. Its combination of natural wood, functional construction and restrained form gives it a strong Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern character.
The extendable scissor mechanism makes this an especially practical vintage light for use as a bedside reading lamp, desk or workspace light, or adjustable wall light beside a sofa or armchair.
It is equipped with an on/ off button and a 2-pin wall plug. However, the lamp can be hardwired to the wall.
